Surfing/California Saved Julie's Life!

Long story short, when Julie moved to California from New York City in 2013, she took up surfing. For unbeknownst reasons (DIVINE INTERVENTION?!), her surf leash detached, & when she searched around for her board, BOOM! The board popped up and smacked Julie right in the eye. A CAT scan would reveal a fist size brain tumor. The surgery took half of Julie's eyesight, but never her VISION. Julie was told that the brain trauma would make it almost impossible for her to become a mom one day. BOOM BOOM! Two healthy kids later, Julie continues to prove that miracles can and do happen. Julie credits surfing, California, & her husband for saving her life. She calls the ocean her "church" and continues to give communion AKA surf 3 times a week!
